Refund & Return Policy — Metal Gutter Brackets UK

 1. Your Statutory Rights

Under Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers have 14 days from the day after delivery to inform us they wish to cancel their order ("cooling-off period"), and 14 days from that notice to return the goods. We will refund within 14 days of receiving the item.

If any of our goods are faulty at the point of receipt, you may reject them within 30 days for a full refund, regardless of our return policy.

2. Our Returns & Refund Terms

a. Standard Returns (Change of Mind)

We offer a 30-day return period from the date of purchase.  Within this window, you may return the item for a refund or exchange, provided the following conditions are met:

The item/s are unused and show no signs of wear, damage, or alteration.

Proof of purchase (order number or email confirmation) will be required at the point of claim.

Returns that are used, damaged or altered in any way will not be accepted, with no refund granted for such items.

b. Faulty or Not as Described Items

If the product is faulty or does not match the description, you may:

Return it within 30 days for a full refund.

After 30 days (up to 6 months), you are entitled to a repair or replacement; if that fails, you may still request a refund.

c. Return Process

Email us at info@metalgutterbracketsuk.com with your order number, reason for return, and your required remedy (refund or exchange).

If your return is approved:

We will provide a returns shipping label or guide you how to send it back.

Please send the items back promptly.

Once received and inspected, we will process any replacements with 5 working days (for certain items this may be longer but we will communicate this at the time).  Any refunds will be processed within 14 days using the original payment method (as required by law).

For returns due to change of mind, you are responsible for covering return shipping costs.

For faulty or mis-described items, we will cover the return postage and provide a prepaid label.

Protection for Our Business

We reserve the right to deny returns of items that have been used, damaged, or altered in any way beyond reasonable inspection.

Sale, discounted, or clearance items may be marked as final sale and not eligible for return unless faulty.

Personalised or bespoke items are non-returnable unless faulty, in line with legal exceptions.

If you fail to notify us of any issues within the cooling-off window, standard statutory rights may still apply—though return may be refused outside our 30-day goodwill returns window.
