How do I know which gutter bracket is right for my property?

If a standard product isn't suitable, we can often manufacture a bespoke solution to match your exact requirements.
You offer your stock brackets in 4”, 4.5”, 5” and 6” sizes but what do those dimensions relate to?
The dimensions referenced on our brackets relate to cast iron guttering size that they are designed to fit and not the actual size of the bracket. Cast iron guttering is traditionally measured across the internal face of the profile and this would usually be an imperial dimension such as 4”. Cast iron guttering has a greater material thickness than plastic or aluminium meaning that the external dimension (overall size) is also greater than other materials. The metal gutter brackets that we produce need to fit around the outside of the guttering and are therefore 10-12mm wider than the internal size quoted on product listing. To give an example our 4” gutter repair bracket would be a better fit for a 112mm plastic than our 4.5” product despite the headline sizes being almost the same. If you are using anything other than cast iron with our brackets then we would advise that you contact us first.
